The chart provides each resource's contact information, a summary description of services, and their scope of confidentiality.

When a resource is marked as confidential, it means that they generally cannot release information you provide to them, even in legal proceedings, without your consent.
Caltech also has important relationships with several local partners providing robust resources addressing health and well-being. Some of these resources focus specifically on health and mental health issues resulting from sexual assault/misconduct, including pregnancies. Access the list here.

Members of the CCID team provide safe spaces, consultative services, and educational outreach events to all Caltech community members, around issues relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This is the number to call in any campus emergency or any other situation when you need immediate assistance with a campus security issue. Please be sure to call 5000 and not 911 for such campus situations. Campus Security addresses situations where your safety is at risk, and will direct emergency responders to the appropriate campus location. They also can help by contacting mental health, law enforcement, and other resources selected by the caller and by providing transportation vouchers to off-campus resources.

The PPD is the local law enforcement department for the City of Pasadena and is a reporting option for our community members who have experienced issues such as sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking. The Equity and Title IX Office works with PPD to help facilitate reporting by our community members so they are properly supported.

Peace Over Violence provides 24-hour emergency services for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. These services include compassion and emotional support, information, accompaniment, referrals, and advocacy.
Medical Resources
Please note that Medical Providers, but not confidential psychological counselors, must notify the police regarding assaultive or abusive conduct, including sexual assault.
This is the campus medical resource for students, providing medical consultation, lab and radiology services, and women's health and sexual health services, as well as a pharmacy and allergy clinic.
This is the major hospital that is closest to Caltech, providing emergency and trauma services, as well as other medical care. Social workers are available to provide counseling as needed.

This Center has helped many of our community members over the years. They provide 24-hour emergency medical treatment for victims of sexual assault, including forensic services (the "rape kit").

They provide 24-hour medical care, emotional support, and comprehensive exams, including forensic evidence collection (the "rape kit"). When you call them, you are provided an immediate connection to on-call nurse for sexual assault services.
This is a local health clinic which provides emergency contraception, pregnancy resources, birth control and health and wellness and family planning services.
This hotline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States. The Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 170 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices.
RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline, accessible 24/7. The organization works closely with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers to offer confidential support services to survivors regardless of where they are in their recovery.
This hotline operates 24/7, confidential and free of cost, and provides lifesaving tools and immediate support to enable victims to find safety and live lives free of abuse. Callers can expect highly trained, experienced advocates to offer compassionate support, crisis intervention information, educational services and referral services in more than 200 languages.
